I've read several of Celia Ahern's books. They are definitely chick books, but make for good, light reading and always keep me coming back for more. It just didn't turn into a good movie, not horrible, but not good either. Some of the scenes seemed forced or silly (the boat scene). And they weren't able to make the secondary characters as fleshed out as in the book, so they just seemed cardboar... read more

“P.S I love you is a very nice chick flick, like normal chick flicks it has it sad moments, funny moments and everything in between moments. The story is about Holly played by Hilary Sawnk, who has just lost her husband Gerry played by Gerard Butler. Gerry has left letters for Holly, and he sends her on a journey of finding herself again. The actors in the movie do a good job, the story is good and overall it is a nice movie to watch.” read more

"@ Blu-ray This is a tearjerker that's completely filled with every cliché in the book and it's normally a film I wouldn't hesitate to despise with all my heart. But I didn't and there's one simple reason for that. I watched it with my girlfriend. It's rather odd, actually. How the company of someone I hold so close to my heart makes me enjoy this film.
