My Brilliant and Witty 2013 Movie Diary (203 movies items)

" Yet another perpetually silent and contemplative philosophical journey from Michelangelo Antonioni. It's the usual steadily paced patches of wordless camera-panning through exuberantly exotic landscapes, punctuated by rare instances of calculated dialogue. It's the quietest I've ever seen Jack Nicholson, but he aptly decides to give a thoughtful and moody performance cuz it's an Antonioni movie after all. He plays a journalist named David Locke, a man who is sick of his life and woes a"

Film Diary - 2012 (391 movies items)

"Date watched: 20th December, 2012 Project: None Why?: Jack Nicholson film I've not seen before. Director: Michelangelo Antonioni Thoughts: It is the cinematography, along with the lack of music soundtrack that I liked about this film. There was some music but generally only day to day sounds and silence. "

Erinomaisesti kuvattu elokuva päättyy ansaitusti huikeaan yhden otoksen finaalikohtaukseen."
