this movies is sweet a nd more would give this the best movie of pirates
and better then those old movies of the pirates( no offense) or anthing
but this is the best pirate movie so FAR!!!!!!!

this movie is a better one then the previous two pirates of the carribean movies and is a movie which has a well developed plot and a good action sequence and some drama making it appealing to many different groups of people and making it to me a 10/10 movie

The build up to this film was humongous, the end of a fantastic trilogy of films, what could possibly be bad about it?! Well, the second film had the same build up and whilst not as good as the first, it was capable of doing the job Disney wanted: Building up hope of an epic finale, pulling in more people, all to watch the third movie go out with a bang. That film ended with Jack walking into the mouth of the kracken, and then the rest of the cast finding out there was a chance they could get him back, along with everything else their individual stories involved them wanting. The storyline of this film feels like butter spread to thin. There wasn't enough storyline or original writing to maintain the premise...how shall we fill the glaring gaps? With loads of special effects, and sweeping scenes showing off the make-up artistry.

Obviously Johnny Depp was great and the pirate thing is a riot, but both of these can be seen in the first film. Kiera Knightly took centre stage in this film..*SIGH*...utterly unconvincing as a Pirate Queen. Knightly was out acted even by the planks of wood lining 'The Pearl'.

I won't be popular with this opinion...but someone's got to play Devil's Advocate.

its very good. they COULD make a 4th film but then that would drag it on a bit. the actin is still good as it was in the first movie. the sword fights were very good

Five hours after I've finished watching this I'm still trying to decide if I actually like it. Sure there is plenty of action, special effects, attempts at humour (which I didn't really find funny) but after all that I still don't know. Which probably means something right there. I was disappointed with the second one in the series and this I can say for sure was better then the second, I wasn't disappointed but I felt it was far too long and by one of the final battle scenes I was a tad bored. Although probably mainly for the fact that that battle scene was so drawn out it became tedious. Does Hollywood seem to think just because they have a lot of action, explosions and lots of pointless running about that we'll be entertained like a pack of morons? Pack a battle scene with so much chaos...Read more

This movie is amazing! and in so many ways...... Ok, it still doesnt beat the first one, but still one of my fav movies. Who wouldn't like it? I absolutely LOVE pirates of the caribbean, and with this one comes no difference. It is officialy the best series of movies ever. No doubt about it. In this one the crew sail to 'the end of the earth' (davy jones' locker) no rescue back witty jack sparrow. Many problems and twists in this resulting in an end you will never guess. I have no say my favourite part was; being a huge johnny depp fan, the part with all the jack sparrow's in davy jones' locker... Well obviously the first actor i will mention did the most amazing job (as he does in all other potc films)......JOHNNY DEPP is i will say the most amazing and tallented and good looking ...Read more

This Pirates movie is amazing.Our adorable Captain Jack Sparrow is back and he will have you bent double with tears in your eyes from laughing. Keria's character is a lot more darker and has changed that tad bit too much since we first came to know her and Will's future is too grim for my liking. i agree that you should not wait till after the credits because the scene was a bit of a let down if you are a major fan like me but i guess you will just have to decide for yourself

In my eyes, this movie was pretty good. A mix of suspense, action, and comedy made the movie an 8 in my books. The only issue I had is the fact that it could be a little boring at times, and there are some slight disappointments with what some of the characters end up to be. The thing that probably dropped my review an entire point was the scene that is after the credits. When you are ready to see something amazing and all you get is something you knew would happen anyway, wouldn't you be disappointed? I would suggest seeing it, but don't be too overjoyed about it, and definatly don't wait for the scene after the credits.

First review? Alrighty. Went to a full house show of the 3rd PotC, and it's one heck of an action packed adventure. It's darker than the previous one, lots of random characters gettin the sword, and just the overall tone of the film. I do have to agree with the critics in that there were some elements that were confusing, there are a few things that seemed odd and unexplained, but I'll see it again, hoping that they'll be cleared up. You have to see it on the big screen for the amazing effects and battles, and there are plenty of twists and turns as each character tries to fill their own agenda. It's tough to talk about the movie without giving away anything, so go and see it before someone lets slip what happens... And definitely stay after the credits......Read more
