It was better than I thought it was going too be. That was my honest opinion. I went into this movie not expecting much, and was plesantly suprised. I thought the movie would be missing something without Keira and Orlando, but Penelope was a nice addition. I'd say go see it if haven't already. You won't be disappointed.

Not the franchise revival we had hoped for...

At last! they ditched the annoying Bloom and Knightly and constructed a brilliant film. Feels incredibly fresh and vibrant and contains just one simple and understandable plot. As far as I'm concerned ,this is the sequel to the first film.

"2/28/13 My latest venture into the Caribbean (sadly without the wonderfully beneficent effects of either rum or Coke) was as enjoyable as the last. I was happy to see that the absence of Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom took nothing away from the film. Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane stood able stead in their place.
