" Directed by Andrzej Munk and Witold Lesiewicz. Director Munk died in car accident while this movie wasn't even ready yet. His friend and colleague, Witold Lesiewicz took a responsibility to make this film complete and he did it quite well (although there wasn't much to do in the end). In my opinion, this is one of the greatest films about the Second World War. Actors in their roles are amazing and the story is even more amazing. Visually adorable."
