The movie is fun, has a great cast, and as it's surprises cames Finley and China Girl.. They were for me, as far as humor and sweetness, the best part of the movie.. My observations after watching: Oz the Great and Powerful, I watched the same day as Jack the Giant Slayer and how they are the same genre it worked out well that I watched this movie the second.. I liked it more overall.. More humor, more "small" characters of which I wasn't expecting a lot, and they were superb.. Even the visual effects and all that goes with fantasy movies"

However, Oz The Great And Powerful is a telling of the story leading to the events of the 1939 classic; hence, we get an insight to how Oz became the Wizard and the relationship between the witches. With this in mind, there was a great deal of curiosity about Oz The Great And Powerful but like many films that focus primarily on visuals, expectations were average. Despite the film was corny regarding script and narrative structure, it was still a visual delight that marks a satisfactory return to Oz.
