"I have a special surprise for you, Mommy!" In motion pictures, it's a widespread belief that children are the embodiment of pure evil. Perhaps not all kids are the spawn of Satan, but horror filmmakers realise that evil disguised behind the eyes of a seemingly innocent child is an effective way of amplifying the scare factor. Into this genre now steps 2009's Orphan. Instead of being an overly effective suspense piece, however, this is a predominantly boring, meandering film which suffers from repetition and poor scripting. Sei que 'novo clássico' possa soar estranho, mas em minha concepção o filme realmente consegue esse título. Hoje em dia é tão, mas tão difícil encontrar um filme de terror que você tenha coragem de dar uma nota acima de 7,0 que qualquer outra idéia pode fazer você ovular (haha) Orfã é um belo filme, a fotografia é ótima e eu realmente achei o 'clima' do filme um ponto meramente positivo. Frio e terror, não tem coisa melhor pra mim, mas ok, isso não vem ao ponto... Outro ponto que se destaca no filme é a atuação de Isabelle Fuhrman, que consegue nos convencer totalmente no começo e você pensa 'own quero uma dessa pra mim' e consegue fazer você sentir ódio ao decorrer do filme. 老實說，這部片沒有想像中好看。
或許是片中的父親太過於愚昧(?)，或該說這類型電影盲點，總有一方會莫名愚鈍或反應遲鈍，沒有察覺生活中發生異狀。

此外，片中提到的病症：垂體性侏儒(pituitary dwarfism or ateliosis)，是指由於下丘腦或垂體前葉功能障礙致使生長激素不足而致身長低於正常兒兩倍標準差或在同齡兒身長第三百分位數以下，通常具有生長障礙、骨成熟延遲，但智力正常。
