A car race gone wrong, Mad Max ends up in a hospital, where he meets Alice, who has a fragile heart, and recently gave birth to Theo. Nine years later, Julien (aka Mad Max), Alice and Theo are a family, although Alice is now in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant. Julien promises Theo that he will save her life, and will do anything to find an organ donor, even if it means killing a man. Lemay-Thivierge (Max/Julien) is an excellent actor here, as is Lucie Laurier. They make a fantastic team. Martin Matte, a comedian, is a pleasant discovery as an actor. The script, of course, doesn’t hold in place, but then again, neither did The Fast and The Furious!
