A bad movie

There are a few good ideas in this movie but it's not enough to make it interesting or entertaining. The whole thing is unscary, boring and looks cheap. Just avoid it.

Here’s a thing I like about most of the Elm Street films, there’s a symmetry in that the majority of them have similar openings of an unseen figure crafting something. In the original we have the glove, in The Dream Warriors we have Kristen’s papier-mâché house, in The Dream Master we get creepy child drawing a chalk picture and in this we get a creepy child drawing on a sidewalk. Movie Reviews (part 8) (50 movies items)

" The Ups: Robert Englund who makes this film bearable and fun even if it goes against everything that this movie stands for as Freddy is meant to be evil and scary. Good effects and inventive deaths. The Downs: Killing off established characters. One thing is to see favorites getting killed, but so easily? Patricia Arquette is even replaced by Tuesday Knight and does a terrible job at it. The movie has been reduced into murder set pieces with a minimal script and all effort gone into the deat"

Films and the critics who hate them (741 movies items)

"Though the Elm Street series contains the most intelligent premise in current genre films, none of the movies take much advantage of their potential. - Caryn James, New York Times As always, the teen actors are disposable, and even Robert Englund seems to be sleepwalking through Freddy. - Richard Harrington, Washington Post"

Posters my dad brought home (9 movies items)

" Imagine having that on your wall as a kid. I was 10 when my dad brought this home. Also around this time he stopped working in the theatre business & had to find another job. So this was the last poster he got for me."
