Like the tagline suggests "A comedy of trial and error", this film makes the courtroom worthy of Joe Pesci's playground. Marisa Tomei is perfect in the supporting role.

"My Cousin Vinny" is not really a well known film but is worth watching out for. A very funny Joe Pesci has the time of his life in the lead role with excellent support from Marisa Tomei in an Oscar winning performance as his girl friend. It is not bad but it is not great either. Joe Pesci does what he usually does in all his movies and Marisa Tomei does an allright job but I have seen her giving much better perfomances lately. Still worth a look though.

“Joe Pesci really owns this movie, right from the time he walks into Judge Chamberlain's court room. His act as the tough talkin' New Yorker, but really a deer-caught-in-the-headlights out in the boonies, is terrific to watch. Marisa Tomei sizzles as his wise-cracking NY girlfriend. Fred Gwynne calmly breezes through his role of the courtly southern Judge who keeps blocking Pesci's character at every turn.
