My Bloody Valentine is often bashed in comparison to it's inferior 2009 remake. I'm here to set the record straight.

" The Ups: It is a slasher from the good old days when atmosphere and a good solid idea was crucial in making a fine "slash and cut"-movie. The cast is also one of the more likeable in the genre even if I have never seen them in anything else. It is necessary viewing for movie buffs as Tarantino has gone on record saying it is his favorite slasher too.
