“I've seen and enjoyed a lot of movies. I've seen many classics and various masterpieces like 2001: A Space Odyssey or The Passion of Joan of Arc, and I have only given out a 10 star rating to four movies. This is one of those four, and, as a matter of fact, it is my all-time favorite. David Lynch is the most unique and brilliant director of all time, and to me this is his magnum opus. Watts gives a great performance, as does Theroux, Harring, Miller, and everybody else in the cast. On first glance the whole thing may not make the least bit of sense, but if you look deeper (and watch it several more times), you will not only find out that it doesn't even need to be explained, but you may also find out that it does have an explanation. My Top 10 Movies of All Time (10 movies items)"This is the most complex film of all time, at least that's my opinion. Inland Empire may be more confusing, but this one is so much more complicated and it actually CAN make sense. It may take a while, but when you fit the puzzle pieces together, you realize the genius that is Mulholland Dr.. Watts gives an excellent performance and Lynch tells one of the most symbolic and brilliant noir stories of all time."
