It is a big classic from the 1930's. Not really my thing but I still thought it was pretty good and it was way better than the Sandler remake (yeeerkkk!...). Definitely worth a look.

"Longfellow Deeds, a simple-hearted Vermont tuba player, inherits a fortune and has to contend with opportunist city slickers. So definitely better than the Mr. Deeds remake. Some pretty funny scenes and good acting, but a bit dragged out. There are some interesting characters and the court room scene is probably my favorite part. "
