Nossa, eu ouvia falar tanto desse filme que resolvi ver.

"I'd rather be lucky than good,"

Posted : 10 months, 1 week ago at Jan 26 13:08
Sure, i wanted to watch it only for Scarlett but the movie was awesome, too of course not as much as Scarlett, omg are you a human ? btw Woody Allen was brilliant again and i liked Jonathan Rhys Meyers's acting. The murdering thing was shocking, killing two people (including my Scarlett) and the end, it was fascinating: "There are moments in a match when the ball hits the top of the net, and for a split second it can either go forward or fall back. With a little luck, it goes forward and you win. Or maybe it doesn't, and you lose." Even thoughIt didn't go forward Chris won, because he'd rather be lucky than good...

I spent most part of this movie trying to discover when it would be finally over. It was boring, with a pretty uninteresting history, and I was swearing I would never rent another Scarlett movie only because Scarlett was in it.
And, then, it happened. The end. And I got so thrilled.
The movie was not completely boring anymore. If was genious. It had everything to be the movie that you HAVE to watch. Just because of the very end of it.
Scarlett wouldn't disappoint me, after all.

Dull thriller

Posted : 1 year, 3 months ago at Aug 24 21:22
I've never been a huge fan of Woody Allen (I didn't even like Annie Hall, thought it was interminably dull.) This movie has some excitement in the last 30 minutes, when everything comes together/falls apart but the middle is rather dull. At nearly two hours long, it could have done with some editing to make it a snappier movie. The other problem is that Jonathan Rhys Myers is wooden faced for so much of it. It works in some scenes but doesn't work in most of them. I could not feel any of his passion for Scarlett Johannson's character, which made the whole premise of the movie (infidelity) a little difficult to believe. The climax, as I said earlier, is interesting and saves the movie from being a complete write-off.

What's the Deal?

What's the deal with all these movies with ALL unlikable characters. This is another one. I hated everybody in this movie and couldn't care less what happened to them. And these were a bunch of overly rich, bratty people. My favorite part of the movie was when it was over so I wouldn't have to watch it anymore.
