Match Point is a film that is depressing and heartfelt. However, it is unexpectedly dark, psychologically shocking and controversial. What's the deal with all these movies with ALL unlikable characters. This is another one. I hated everybody in this movie and couldn't care less what happened to them. And these were a bunch of overly rich, bratty people. My favorite part of the movie was when it was over so I wouldn't have to watch it anymore.

I've never been a huge fan of Woody Allen (I didn't even like Annie Hall, thought it was interminably dull.) This movie has some excitement in the last 30 minutes, when everything comes together/falls apart but the middle is rather dull.
