It certainly was a feast for the eyes and from a visual standpoint a really pretty movie.

However from the trailers it seemed like a more teen oriented film. Not your usual period piece fair of great seriousness and the like. Too bad that while it did try to do that it was BO-RING. It felt like I was watching a Vivienne Westwood fashion show at times. If the same attention to detail had gone into the script I may have enjoyed this film more.
