Ranskalainen animaatio satirisoi korporaatiomaailmaa. Filmi sijoittuu Los Angelesiin, jossa alkaa kiihkeä panttivankitilanne.
"WINNER: Logorama
Other nominees: Granny O'Grimm's Sleeping Beauty
French Roast
The Lady and the Reaper
A Matter of Loaf and Death
MY CHOICE: 'Logorama'.
An absolutely marvellous year for the animated short category. I love all five of these films. It's a sign of the high quality that Nick Park's Wallace and Gromit comeback is one of the two weaker efforts. 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' is another great short featuring the beloved duo but it falls a long way short of their previous two Oscar"
"Police chase an armed criminal in a version of Los Angeles comprised entirely of corporate logos.
Nominees:
▪ Granny O'Grimm's Sleeping Beauty
▪ French Roast
▪ The Lady and the Reaper
▪ A Matter of Loaf and Death"
"A short with seemingly endless amounts of detailing around it's visuals, Logorama really does excel in delivering a true treat to your eyes. It has not only an alright story within the context of it's length, but also the music deserves a mention for being worthwhile. However what excels is the unique visual style and idea Logorama has. Not only is it fun to spot the various trademarked icons roaming the streets, they also cause spontanious burst of laughter simply by showing up. This is far too"
