"For a prequal made nearly 20 years after the orignial, it wasn't awful, but definitely not good either. The songs were uninspiring, the voices were not close enough to the orignial, they made Flounder extremely annoying, and the story line in general simply didn't connect well to The Little Mermaid. They would have been better off not making this one."
