Watching Rynn (Jodie Foster) go toe-to-toe with her and get the upper hand is a delight and Rynn knows exactly where Cora's achilles heel is in the form of her son Frank's hinted at indiscretions with young girls. " It is strange that this film can feel sweet and creepy at the same time. Adding another layer of 'deeply disturbed' to the overall film. A creepy and spooky little gem of a film that is nether gory or grotesque. So, very much the type of 'horror/thriller' film that I enjoy."

Kuitenkaan hänen koppava hahmonsa ei herättänyt sympatiaa, joten ei kiinnostanut vaikka paha setä ahdistelikin häntä. Pedofiiliteemaa leffassa käsitellään todella ohuesti mikä ei itseäni haitannut. Kokonaisuuden ongelma on lähinnä hieman heppoinen käsikirjoitus ja jännityksen puute."
