While it certainly looked interesting, the story unfortunately uses a lot of words to say nothing new.

I'm voting 2/10 because of Redford's direction of Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise; I found their characters very believable and found the casting perfect. Cruise as the senator looks like a smart a$$ (pardon the expression) and Streep is perfect as the journalist.

Lions for Lambs marks the first feature from the now Tom Cruise owned company of United Artists. Despite its poor box office profit and heavy pasting, I found the movie to actually be quite decent.

This movie has many flaws and it isn't much loved by viewers but I liked it anyway. Of course, it is not a masterpiece but I found the subject is very interesting and very well developped. The best part is the confrontation between Meryl Streep and Tom Ctuise. If you enjoy movies about politics like I do, it is definitely worth a look.
