“Life of Pi, is based on novel by Yann Martel, which I read couple of years back and I was engaged in that novel, because of a unique story. When I came to know that the novel is going to hit the cinema screens, I was anxious to see the live version.

The movie is amazing, beautifully picturized, excellent effects, at some time there seems some weakness, but overall it is too good. "The sound of the ship sinking was deafening, or convincingly deafening to a sense. The roar of the tiger, the thunder of the storm. The music and not to mention Pi's thundering breakdown sequence! I personally don't think this is this year's true winner but what can I say - the nominations took me by surprise. Since I've seen this film I'm gonna have to pick it as my lock for the win this year!..."
