"28/8 Ulli Lommel was a little ridiculous with his long coat and hat and glasses and with that cool and quiet way of going about. He had a very cinematic-face however and the movie was fine, because you can see so clearly that it's one of Fassbinder's earliest works and because that sweet indie-feel just oozes through the limited settings and limited characters and simplistic black and white cinematography. It's most notable in the very beginning, when a bunch of characters are in some gangster "
