License to Wed (2007)

Yes, this film is ridiculous and outrageous at some points, but that is expected. The film was just made for laughs, not a cinematic masterpiece. I personally thought it was a very funny film, featuring some great performers that pulled it off quite well. I did not walk into the theater expecting greatness, but just a fun time at the Movie Theaters, and that is what I got. "License To Wed", is a fun, and very entertaining film. If you are looking for a great time with friends, and film that will make you laugh, then I recommend this Film.

I must say that I really forced myself to watch the remainder of the movie, after those mechanical babies showed up. (I'm glad, Prelude76, that we have the same opinion on this!) That was just stupid.

As for the rest of the script, well, like Voxy writes, it's "far too predictable" indeed. I also had a hard time laughing, because everything really is just pathetic.

Characters are actually annoying, and yes, Robert Williams is *not* good in this film. Yes, you read correctly: he is *not* good in this film.

Don't waste your time. Unless that's all you have left to do :)

I really wanted to like this movie because not only is this John Krasinksi's first lead-role in a major picture, it also has many of his hilarious 'Office' co-stars. And Christine Taylor is in it. ~~drool~~ But after a few attempts at watching, I always gave up on it shortly after those idiotic mechanical-babies got introduced. Who the heck is the clown who thought to introduce such an idiotic concept, and then to use them for all jokes for rest of movie? Another major problem was that Krasinski as well as his Office co-stars played the exact same personalities as they play on the TV show. Either its really bad directing, or they are all single-skill actors.
