I didn't expect it but it was actually better than I thought it would be and it was even better than the first one. Kung Fu Panda 2 may not be better than the first one but it's certainly just as good. Even though the storyline seemed a tad familiar that's not what bothered me the most it was Jack Black's one liners. Half of them fell flat to me and weren't funny.
