"Watched on Blu Ray on March 9th.
One of Kubrick's early films, Killer's Kiss is worth watching for the photography alone. It shows his great eye for composition and interesting camera work. "

I've still got a couple of Kubrick's films left to watch, but from what I've seen I'd say this is his weakest film. That's not to say there's not plenty here to admire, as the camerawork is excellent & the story has its moments. The cast does a solid job & I was fairly entertained. What was it about?
As a man waits at a train station for his girl, he tells us about the recent past and we segue into a long flashback.

My rating: 07/10"

Kubrick's early effort is not without its flaws; in fact, if Kubrick's hadn't directed it, I probably wouldn't have been motivated to watch it. Yet, it demonstrates Kurick's promise and future prospects as a master of cinema. Nevertheless, I was underwhelmed by the unexpected happy ending.
Saw on February 22nd. "

Kubrickin ensimmäinen taidonnäyte, on tehokas noir.
