One of the best action films ever!!

Posted : 2 weeks, 2 days ago at Jan 24 1:39
Kill Bill: Volumes 1 and 2 are now two of the best action films of all time. The first one is the start of thrilling, explosive, impact and extremely excited action films that have generated ideas of creating new action films. It is an action film with a really catchy title name which did catch my biggest attention to Kill Bill. For some reason the first Kill Bill reminded me a bit of Sin City with the kinds of action involved but not in a coloured visual way. When I watched Kill Bill: Volume 1 for the first time, I watched Sin City for the first time straight afterwards. Kill Bill: Volume 1 is the ultimate action film of the 2000s (decade not century) so far. Kill Bill doesn't just take us through the Bride's path of revenge but also through a series of different acts of violence. This fi...Read more

Here comes the Bride, All Dressed In White

Posted : 9 months, 1 week ago at May 3 15:03
....all dressed in white.... Only two words can be used to describe this movie: Bad @ss. Not only is this Quentin's homage to martial arts flix, but it also includes homage's to anime & those funky, grainy 70's Bruce Lee's wannabe's that made us laugh with their unsynchronized voice-overs, jagged camera movements & b-level musical sound effects. And yet, he was able to combine all this in a manner that was just plain... well.... ... bad-@ss. You wanna know just how bad-ass Beatrice Kiddo, the Bride really is? At her wedding, not only does she show up looking like she's late into her trimester of pregnancy, but also at the same time, she has enough balls to wear a wedding dress that is white, the traditional color that is supposed to symbolize virginancy. So then, the q...Read more

Witty, Funny and just so damm clever.
It's always hard to pick with Q.T because his top films are just to great. But I think Kill Bill is my favourite. Despite the whole story being a homage and pretty cheesy you get so immersed into it and want to know what's going to unfold in this epic. If your a fan of cinema you'll be laughing along with all the references and gags while being on the edge of your seat waiting for what will happen next. Amazing action set pieces and soundtrack will entertain.

The Definition Of A Masterpiece. (*Spoilers*)

The whole "Kill Bill" series really never appealed to me due to the way the previews looked, and that it wasn't my type of genre I usually watch. It seemed like a film that I for sure would just turn off after the first ten minutes. I guess I never really took a minute to deeply think about how good it could have been if I were to watch it, so I gave it a chance last night. Lets just say I was blown away. From the amazing cinematical experience, great animation, and just truly unique screenplay that I had never witnessed until now, I just couldn't dislike this film nor even look away for a second. The storyline is flawless. It it is about a woman named "The Bride" (Uma Thurman) who is out for revenge after almost being killed by a group of assassins called "The deadly viper assassins" (...Read more

Watching this film at the cinema for the first time took my breath away. It probably holds the record of 'film I paid to see at the cinema the most times', with four seperate viewings. I'd never seen such an abridged and visceral film in mainstream cinema. Not only was this film extraodinarily pleasing on the eye, but it had one of the most impressive soundtracks to boot. In fact, the sound in all aspects was perfect. This exposed me to many, previously unexperienced, aspects of cinema, such as anime, pulp fiction and murderous samurai warrior women. I did feel the sequel to this film didn't really live up to the non-stop entertainment value of this film, but it was still a good effort. I generally don't like Tarrantino, I'm probably quite jealous that he gets to flout his geeky fantasi...Read more
