"It takes a certain kind of person to do what I do. No-one's ever impressed; no-one's ever fascinated. If you're a fireman, all the kids will want to jump on the back of the truck and follow you to a fire. There's going to be no kids willing to do that with me. So, I don't do it to impress people - it's a job, it's my trade, and I actually think I'm pretty good at it."
For a movie I wasn't planning on watching I'm very glad Kenny was on television because I love it. Not so much the movie although it was great but more so the character. The combination of lisping, ockerisms and caring nature make Kenny a lovable Aussie bloke right from the word go.

When I say this film stinks.. i mean its really good. It has its funny moments, its hilarious moments and those few times when it just wasn't as good as it could be. I enjoyed watching this, and i'm pretty sure most people would aswell.

Granted, Kenny was a hit in its home country of Australia, to the extent that it spawned a television series and remained in cinemas for over 30 weeks. Heck, some cinemas were even showing it after it was out on DVD!!
Nevertheless, the rest of the world is generally oblivious to this little Aussie gem, as the international distributors simply had no clue as to how they should market it. As a result, the film remains fairly little-known. And that's a shame, because Kenny is an impeccable mix of"

“This was a great Australian movie. As you can probably tell it shows the life of a guy that sets up portable toilets at major events in Australia. It had some really funny moments though there were also parts that were a little slow. It it beneficial to know some Australian slang to fully understand the movie but its not required. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys aussie movies or likes comedy movies.” read more

There is one undeniable, inescapable bona fide fact regarding humans that we rarely like to discuss or even mention: everybody poos. Generally speaking, mainstream movies exercise this fact for brainless comedy. Modern comedies usually toss in a fart gag or a diarrhoeic outburst in a desperate attempt for a laugh. From such scenes in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle or Dumb and Dumber, to dramatic shit smearing in” read more

"I don't know what all the fuss is about, it's 80% water and we've got chemicals to take care of the remaining 20."
It took about 5 years to make...but the Jacobson Brothers have created one of the best Aussie films in existence. The quality of mateship is present, as well as a sort of Crocodile Dundee approach to every situation. The central characters are typically Australian and are a symbol of everything I love about my countr"

This is classic Australian humour! An outstanding mockumentary about your typical hard-working Aussie named Kenny whose trade is in portaloos. From start to finish, the film is a complete riot. Even after several screenings the humour is fresh and hilarious."

Kenny is a mockumentary about the plumbers who work with port-a-loos. Shane Jacobson did Kenny so well it's almost as if Kenny was his own person, he also pretty much worked with the port-a-loo company for over a year and the fact that the 'actors' were family and friends gave it a feeling of being a true documentary. It also had a lot of heart, not cheese, which made it even better to watch.” read more
