"29/8 Bunch of men and women hang out at an apartment building-area and they talk about money a lot or stand around, but then a man from Greek comes to the neighborhood, played by Fassbinder himself, and disturbs the flow of things just by being. The immigrant-message merely worked as a simple satire and the romance between Fassbinder and Hanna Schygulla was just something that at best managed to reinforce that feel.
