This movie is completely mind fucking and seriously doesn't make any sense. Witch whose eyes turn red and can be defeated by water? WHAT? However it's extremely entertaining and one just can't stop watching it. When you get to the end you won't even be surprised anymore, because you will seriously be expecting anything and everything.
Compared to most Araki films, Kaboom is a pretty lightweight, but entertaining film. I have really become a Thomas Deller and Chris Zylka fan. They gave great performances.

So weird, so fucked up.... to the point that I couldn't but love it. Random people in animal masks, drugs, sex, aliens, creative costumes, secret cults.... Yes, please!"

A supernatural sex comedy, is perhaps the best way to describe the film. I find that the more Gregg Araki films I watch the more I fall in love with him. He has an ability to blend movie cliches into a unique form. If you watched The Rules of Attraction (2002) and felt like gagging at the end... well Araki finally filmed the cure.
