I haven't seen the original French version but I remember that it was a huge success in France back then. Anyway, this is a typical case of expecting something so bad that, at the end, the movie left almost a positive impression. Beware! It is still a very average flick but it is rather harmless and can be enjoyed by young kids, I guess.

Michael Cromwell, a New-Yorker, suddenly learns that he has a 13-year old son that's been raised in the jungle. He brings the boy to New York, and that's where the fun starts...Just watched it and it's very funny.
