I was actually shocked when I realized this flick was only his 4th movie! When he is on screen, giving his awesome Shakesparian dialogs, it feels like he has been doing this for decades. It may seem that Marlo... read more

“Maybe at the end of his career, Marlon Brando did show up in some really horrendous flicks but we shouldn't forget that at the beginning of his career, he was involved in some true classics. I was actually shocked when I realized this flick was only his 4th movie! When he is on screen, giving his awesome Shakesparian dialogs, it feels like he has been doing this for decades. It may seem that Marlon Brando is the big star but you have actullay here an impressive ensemble cast (James Mason, John Gielguld and more) and they all give some tremendous performances. Eventually, even though I liked it, it didn't completely blow me away since there is nothing much going on here expect these very long and heavy dialogs written by the great Shakespeare. I must say I really much enjoyed those classics” read more
