If you can get a hold of a copy of this film I'd highly recomend it. Worse case scenario, you don't like it and you're out 13 minutes. Best case scenario you love it and you're glad you saw it. The narative is vaguely reminicent of Hitch Hikers Guide (The BBC Miniseries) as are some of the visual effects. Some will find it depressing, others inspiring, dramatic, tragic, comical.

brilliant piece, an early mockumentary if not the first about Brazilian society of inequalities and poverty. a must see

An insightful documentary that follows a tomato from the field, to a garbage bin, on to the ironicly named "Ilha das Flores" (Island of Flowers).
