"Things are different now, I have to protect the one thing that I can't live without."
Kicking off Phase Two of Marvel's interconnected series of superhero adventures, Iron Man 3 is a raging success, a comic book movie with depth, smarts and a marvellous sense of fun. The director of the first two Iron Man pictures, Jon Favreau, did not return to helm this third instalment, and his ... read more
Tony Stark is in many ways a changed man. Yes he his still glib and suave but once the spotlight is off he shows a more vulnerable persona. The fact that he spends more time out of the suit than it shows how much he has been traumatized by the events of The Avengers and the attack of the terrorist, Mandarin.
Robert Downey Jr really shines here playing it both loose and tense as he s... read more
My expectations were way too much high for this movie. I couldn't be more disappointed. What the hell Mr. Shane Black?! Awful. It almost made Green Lantern seems like a good movie. What a pity. Great potential, and it was destroyed...

“Ok so here we go Iron man 3 the first movie in marvels phase 2 this is the first iron man not directed by Jon Favreau. You can totally tell that this is not his movie this easily is the darkest of the iron man films. Though keeping with a light feeling with comedy which was the best of the three films while some of it did feel misplaced i didn't have a problem with it and it didn't take away from the overall experience. Now this is one thing i really liked about the film is that you get to see tony use his intelligence in this more so then in iron man 2 this takes me back to Iron man 1 when he is in the cave building his suit.
Now this is one thing i didn't expect in the film so ill give them credit for trying to try do something different. I just didn't like what they did to The” read more

+ Great action scenes
+ Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley
+ The plot twist was really funny

"Watched on the 20th.
Went to the cinema to see this, thought it was as good as the other two Iron Man films, but after Avengers Assemble it seemed a little lacking and nothing extremely special. That being said I still really enjoyed it, how The Mandarin turned out was pretty funny ;D and the little army of Iron Men was definitely good to watch.

First and foremost once Robert Downey Jr. is done playing Iron Man the character shouldn't be recast or rebooted for at least 10 years better yet make it 20. RDJ has made the character of Tony Stark/Iron Man so much his it's hard to imagine anyone else even coming close to matching up. There have been rumors that this will be RDJ's last stand alone Iron Man film, I personally hope that's not the case.
As far as Iron Man 3 is concerned it's exactly what I want in a big sum"

“In addition to serving as the third installment in the Iron Man series, the events of Iron Man 3 take place soon after The Avengers. Following the success of that film, expectations were exceedingly high of what audiences were to expect in Tony Stark’s next adventure. However, Iron Man 3 underwent a number of changes compared to the two predecessors, particularly Shane Black replacing Jon Favreau as director and judging by the trailer, it had an eerie and more personal touch to it. Considering the changes compared to the film’s predecessors, Iron Man 3 is a fantastic installment into the trilogy and is another Marvel triumph.
Director Shane Black’s deliverance of creative humour and dialogue in his debut feature Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005 was displayed once again in Iron M” read more
