Not that bad. Yeah, the story is quite easy to figure out because the script is so busy with the red herrings that movie becomes laughable at best. Still I liked Clive Owen a lot in here and he seemed to have a great chemistry with the little girl. It's easier to watch these kind of films if you care about the main charachter. "

It starts off promising, establishing a well-suited atmosphere and some really nice cinematography. I also found the premise to be rather interesting, as I liked the idea of this 'Hollow Man'.
But, the dual story with the Spanish boy, mother and priest eventually turns into too much of an distraction from what eventually becomes the main story, with Clive Owen. And the several twists and turns are generic, dire and predictable, making this a film that could have have been much more.

"It looks like something the director of 28 Weeks Later would make but it never quite feels complete. Perhaps that's because it tries to blend two stories about kids being terrorized together and one is much more fleshed out than the other. It never hits that horror sweet spot melding suspense and atmosphere to create genuine thrills. It looks good, but it really could be rated PG-13 if it weren't for a random set of boobs thrown in there. Also the random twist at the end seems like a cheap w"

There are a few 'horror film' storylines or twists that will automatically score a zero for me. Generally because the ending pisses you off and you feel cheated that you have just spent several hours watching something that was *NOT* a horror film. This it generally made even worse buy using pseudo science or psychology to explain things. Making the tired, done a thousand times before, twist even more pathetic."
