There are minor spoilers here, so be careful.
It's a film that's really, really hard to talk about without going into major plot points, but I'm going to try my best to keep it at a small, general level.

Christopher Nolan's Interstellar has opened up to a bit of mixed-to-positive reviews from film critics. Which have probably angered and disappointed a lot of fans. The thing ... read more

Director Christopher Nolan and the cast have taken great lengths to insure complete secrecy for one of the year's most anticipated films; Interstellar. I feel that it is only fair to respect this by writing a non-traditional review. There aren't any spoilers to be had here, this is simply a summary of how and what to prepare for when seeing this film. Because even though this film will not appe... read more

Even though I had pretty much enough of the fanatism surrounding Christopher Nolan, I still have to admit that the guy displayed once again an impressive set of balls. Indeed, nowadays, the box-office is pretty much ruled by the super-heros, the young adult book adaptations, the sequels, the remakes, the reboots and you don't see many directors coming up with something really original and without... read more

"Interstellar represents more of the thrilling, thought-provoking, and visually resplendent filmmaking moviegoers have come to expect from writer-director Christopher Nolan, even if its intellectual reach somewhat exceeds its grasp."

" Christopher Nolan may not be the best at story or characters (especially female ones) but this film has grown on me. Respect its ambition and exploration of ideas. The film also really hits some great emotional beats in large part due to its cast."

"Great movie with a great soundtrack. What can I say about M. Mcconaughey. He's always been one of those actors that I've hated to watch but lately he's been doing a much better job of choosing roles and also doing a good job acting in those roles. I would say that this is the best I've ever seen him play a character in a movie although I certainly have not seen all his movies. He does a first rate job and seems to have been a perfect fit."

Interstellar

“Is Interstellar truly worthy of the high star rating I have given it? Probably not, but goddamn if I didn’t admire its grand ambition, tremendous heart, and stellar acting ensemble enough to forgive its flaws. I happily went along its epic scope and large heart.

Taking place in a future where the present is beginning to look an awful lot like the Dust Bowl on a larger scale, we meet Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a former NASA pilot forced into becoming a farmer. Farming is about all that currently happens on earth, despite massive amounts of crops dying out. Cooper is widowed and lives with his two children and their grandfather (John Lithgow), spending most of his days nurturing his daughter’s scientific curiosity and helping his son learning the farming trade. It’s not ex” read more

“Christopher and Jonathan Nolan are such powerful storytellers I knew this was something I was going to want to see. Even when the plot was under wraps. The cast is amazing and had a few people I had not expected to see. This is visually remarkable with some amazing shots. I loved how Nolan made it so there was actually no sound in space rather than being able to hear whatever is happening. There was a few quite emotional scenes that really pull you into them. I do think that it was quite long and dragged on a bit for no reason occasionally, but that didn't take away the entertainment. I did kind of figure out the twist in the beginning though, but I thought it was executed in an interesting way. Matthew McConaughey is really improving himself as an actor and I was truly entranced by his pe” read more

Interstellar review

“"We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt."

This was one of my most anticipated movies of the year. Christopher Nolan has usually always given us great movie. The Dark Knight Rises was a mess though, but name one director that has a flawless filmography. So i was very excited to see him go back to doing an original project again now that his Batman trilogy was over. And while this was not as great as i had hoped, it was still a lot better than his last movie. The first two thirds of the movie are absolutely excellent, and i was ready to give this a 10/10, but that last act was just a little too much for me. In this already fantastical and pretty out there movie, he still managed to take it too ” read more

Indeed, nowadays, the box-office is pretty much ruled by the super-heros, the young adult book adaptations, the sequels, the remakes, the reboots and you don't see many directors coming up with something really original and without 3D, on top of that. It seemed that Nolan's ambition is pretty much limitless as he decided to tackle this time an epic science-fiction feature reaching out for a seminal masterpiece like '2001: A Space Odyssey' and the guy almost pulled it off. I say almost because even though the whole thing was really entertaining, emotional and gorgeous to look at, the story was actually rather shaky and half” read more

Almost true but few fictions, artistic yet enterta

“Well, one off from two of this year's most expected movies alongside 'The Battle of Five Armies'. Like all the Chris Nolan fans, I was equally excited to see the movie on the opening day opening show. But I slightly disappointed that it was not a digital 3D film. I agree, this science-fiction was more dramatized than usual space travel stories does with an adventure-thriller. Almost a 3 hour long stretch movie did not waste much time to take us to the core of the story. Get prepared for this extremely rare voyage into the space with a logical explanation for everything you see on the screen. Well done research for the most matured and intelligent writing. All the credit must go to Nolan brothers. A good sign from Jonathan Nolan, who can make big in the entertainment industry in a future li” read more

“Christopher Nolan's Interstellar is a awe-inspiring, powerful, and thought-provoking film that leans heavily on human emotions. Now of course people will compare this to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A space Odyssey and why i do think Interstellar is an amazing film i don't think its on the level of Kubrick's 2001 but while others see this as a bad thing i don't and i wish that wasn't something people judge the film by.

Interstellar opens up in the near future on a dying earth which cannot sustain life for much longer with food becoming scarce and frequent major dust storms it's reminiscent of the 1930's Dust Bowl only worse. The film follows Cooper (McConaughey) a former NASA test pilot and engineer who is now a farmer that lives with his daughter Murph, his son Tom, and his father-in” read more

Christopher Nolan's Interstellar has opened up to a bit of mixed-to-positive reviews from film critics. Which have probably angered and disappointed a lot of fans. The thing is, however, that was inevitable. You can't hit everyone when you're making the arguably most ambitious film in decades, and yes, Interstellar is not a 100% perfect film. There are minor problems to be found here, but seeing as Interstellar aims for the nearly impossible, I'm willing to say that Interstellar is a perfect film for audiences despite it not being perfect. It's actually a masterful piec” read more

There aren't any spoilers to be had here, this is simply a summary of how and what to prepare for when seeing this film.
