"Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory." The original Indiana Jones film was a little known production that became a worldwide hit. After the great success of Raiders of the Lost Ark it was inevitable that the team would get back together and produce another ripping yarn of an action/adventure flick. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is certainly the weakest Indiana Jones film to date. After watching it again after all these years I am reminded that even the worst film of a film series can still be bucket loads of fun. this movie was a cool movie i have to admit but this one (the tempel of doom)
is a little dark than the other indiana jones movie i didint like this one as much but it was still good i rather watch a other idiana jones movie but
you should see this one if you got the trilogy it will give you a better for you to under stand but i rather watch raider of the lost ark or something

Pathetically stupid portrayal of India. After looking at the script, the Indian govt wouldn't let Spielberg shoot in India. So he shot the movie in Sri Lanka. Amrish Puri must have sold his sould to devil when agreed to star in this dumb movie.

A great classic, but 'Temple of Doom' is my least-favorite of the Indiana Jones trilogy. Still, the good parts (gross bugs, action-adventure with comic twists, eating monkey brains, wild ride thru mine shafts on rail carts, and the bridge over crocodile-infested rivers) clash with many bad parts of the movie (highly annoying sidekick, even more annoying 'love interest', and most importantly, the lack of nazis).
