So, after waiting 2 years for this to be done and actually released I finally saw it in cinemas, it was better than expected I think, worth the wait of it all as well, I don't understand why people are bashing it as to me there is worse films out there these days, but this was really good I finally saw Matt Dillon in a comedy role which I haven't seen in absolutely ages, It made me realize why I ... read more

I'm not really a big fan of Kristen Wiig and I'm still not. That being said I did enjoy this movie. The main reasons are Darren Criss, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon, and the brother. It is a bit strange and kind of feels like it takes place in the realm of Napoleon Dynamite. I liked the ending as it was pretty funny. My favorite characters were definitely the brother and the guy who lives in her roo... read more

'Girl Most Likely' was another stinker that I stumbled across on Netflix one night (I've streamed my fair share of those). I was dubious right away going into the movie, because the film description on Netflix states the conflict of our "admirable" heroine, Imogene (Kristen Wiig): an adult woman who FAKES A SUICIDE to get her ex's attention after he breaks up with her, and I... didn't really want ... read more

" Netflix- 1hr. 43min. First Viewing Occasionally funny, but more often grating, Girl Most Likely features some solid performances, but rarely ever break for the indie dramedy mold."

Movies I Streamed on Netflix in 2015 (112 movies items)

"Pros: Not very many. It's always nice to see Matt Dillon onscreen (though his role here is FAR from his best); the subplot involving the lead character's relationship with her socially-awkward brother is... alright. Cons: Lead character Imogene proves VERY difficult to like (case in point: the movie begins with her *staging a suicide because her boyfriend broke up with her*; now THERE'S a real mature individual!); even after Imogene evolves a bit, I still found it hard to invest much interest i"

Still, I watched 'Girl Most Likely' anyway -- perhaps because Matt Dillon has a role, and (while I haven't cared for about 95% of his film choices since the late 1990's) I do like Dillon as an actor.

Well, Dillon's okay, I guess, in 'Girl Most Likely', although his role in the movie isn't even close to his best (I blame bad writing; his character is ” read more
