So, after waiting 2 years for this to be done and actually released I finally saw it in cinemas, it was better than expected I think, worth the wait of it all as well, I don't understand why people are bashing it as to me there is worse films out there these days, but this was really good I finally saw Matt Dillon in a comedy role which I haven't seen in absolutely ages, It made me realize why I ... read more

I'm not really a big fan of Kristen Wiig and I'm still not. That being said I did enjoy this movie. The main reasons are Darren Criss, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon, and the brother. It is a bit strange and kind of feels like it takes place in the realm of Napoleon Dynamite. I liked the ending as it was pretty funny. My favorite characters were definitely the brother and the guy who lives in her roo... read more

Imogene isn't very likable

This one was another stinker (I've streamed my share on Netflix). I was dubious going into this movie, because the plot point of our oh-so-admirable heroine (Kristen Wiig) FAKING A SUICIDE to get her ex's attention after he breaks up with her is right there in the film description, and I... didn't really want to watch a movie about such a person. Still, I watched it anyway; maybe because Matt Dill... read more

Movies I've Streamed on Netflix in 2015 (71 movies items)

"Pros: Not many. It's always nice to see Matt Dillon onscreen (though his role here is FAR from his best); there was a so-so subplot involving the lead character's relationship with her brother (who I think was supposed to have Asperger's Syndrome). Cons: The lead character, Imogene, was VERY hard to like (the story is actually built around her *staging a suicide because her boyfriend broke up with her*; now there's a real mature individual!); her character *did* "evolve" a bit throughout the co"

Still, I watched it anyway; maybe because Matt Dillon has a role, and (though I haven't cared for about 95% of his film choices since the late 1990's) I do like Dillon as an actor.

Well, Dillon's alright, although this is far from his best role (I blame bad writing; his character is ridiculous and rather pointless). Annette Bening is predictable as Wiig's "eccentric" mother. The only other cast member I'm really familiar with is Natasha ” read more
