I Spy got poor reviews, didn't do that well in the theaters, gets a low IMDB rating, yet I can't help but love this comedy. The pairing of Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson is excellent. Owen Wilson is great as always, but Eddie Murphy stole this film. To me, this reminded me of his early Beverly Hills Cop days, as well as Bowfinger.

It is one of those very average Eddie Murphy flick, his speciality, I'm afraid. Even Owen Wilson who is usually pretty good cannot save this movie from being mediocre. It's too bad because it actually had some potential. Not really worth a look, only for the die-hard Eddie Murphy fans.
