"I need to get some fucking friends." Over recent years, it would seem, the mainstream comedy genre has become a breeding ground for male arrested development. With American comedy embracing unadorned masculinity - in all its slovenly, sexist, drunken and often childish glory - with such gusto, it's a surprise that I Love You, Man is perhaps the first modern comedy that actually attempts to explore male bonding. I know I shouldn't say my opinion because I am a big fan of the whole Judd Appattow crew and every comedian that is part of it. It's impossibl not to laugh. It's just hilarious and silly at the same time but I must say the part I did laugh loud was the couple that Jaime Pressly and Jon Favreau were.

En tiedä miksi, mutta tämä elokuva iski ihan mukavasti. Myötähäpeän tunteita sai kyllä käydä elokuvan aikana läpi, mutta tässä myötähäpeäkin oli leppoisaa. Paul Rudd on mainio hiukan jäykähkön nörttimiehen roolissaan. Viihdyttävää on seurata, miten kauluspaidan napit löystyvät ja miehestä kuoriutuu letkeä basisti.

Tästä tuli vaan hyvä mieli.
