After...25 years or so...the chewing gum has lost it's flavor a bit. ;P
I literally had not seen this since my late teens so my memory was a bit foggy. I did recall that it was fun to watch and incredibly campy; for the most part, it was still exactly that. Only this time around I found myself noticing person after person in cameo roles that (I now know) went on to far better roles and success.

Though it happens more often with horror-comedies than straight horror, it's still nice to see a horror flick that likes its characters.
