A man who was raised to be an assassin grows up around weaponry, combat training, and is marked with a bar code on the back of his shaved head; given a number, not a name. The number is 47, and he is a killing machine without feelings or emotions of any kind. Given a hit by "The Organization" without realizing it is a setup, 47 kills the Russian President only to be the target of not only Interpol, but the Secret Russian police as well as the "organization" who hired him and gave him the contract. Games likes Hitman definitely needs a movie, because they are not just a game. This movie was OK, it was too short but didnt bore me. And the scenes from Turkey, my Istanbul was cool. Desmond and T-Bag did the movie more exciting and the end was touchable and original.

''I don't know - you think we have time for foreplay? A genetically made egghead assassin based on the computer game. Timothy Olyphant looks the part, saw him in Die Hard 4.0 first and this looked like a good move by his agent (47) and is. (Bad joke i know!). Hitman is perhaps style over substance. Especially its action sequences are well directed and great looking, making this simply a fine action-flick to watch. The movie gets really carried by those sequences and are what is making "Hitman" still a seriously fine and enjoyable flick to watch. Hitman was a movie that I had no real set expectations for. All I knew was the fact that it's a video game adaptation and that it is basically a agent/killing type of movie. That's it. I found it to be a stylish and entertaining movie, but it certainly could have been better. Timothy Olyphant has the title role of the 'Hitman', also known as Agent 47. He has no real name and very few memories of how he came to the profession that he is in. The plot I am told is not based on the storyline used in the game, so I'm guessing that the only real similarity between the two would be the characters and their main backgroun...Read more

This has got to be one of the best action films of 2007. At first, I didn't think Timothy Olyphant would suite Agent 47's role very role. But I was pleasantly surprised. He did great.

As for the plot. It had kind of a bourne film style to it. It really made the film better.

The fight sequences were incredible. Extremely well choreographed, and a joy to watch.

Overall a very good movie
