"1/27/13 It's strange; I'm not a great fan of De Niro, as in I don't rush out to see his films ASAP but when I do get around to watching them, they almost always please. This is no exception. This also reminds me of another actor (that I feel similarly about) and another movie, which I shall not name; it would spoil the plot for those of you who have not seen it. "First viewing - Oct. 13th - DVD from phillydude's collection Going into a film with lowered expectations in this case pays off. I thought much of this film was solid & enjoyed it all the way through to the end. There's nothing especially original about it & the most impressive thing is how creepy Dakota Fanning can be. The twist is well-executed but rather ridiculous, so I enjoyed the ending more while watching it than thinking about it afterwards. Worth a look, but not essential."
