When I go to watch a movie I want to be entertained. I'm not one of those people that nitpicks through a movie criticizing the minute details of what was on the screen. I was thoroughly entertained while watching this movie. It was funny, sad, adventurous, action packed, suspenseful, and great fun to watch. I loved that fact that so many families had come together to watch the movie and from what... read more

2012 Movie Diary - December (32 movies items)

"Are we all agreed that this was the moment when Ron went from being cute, to being fucking sexy? Yes? Good. I love how the plot of this one isn't all focussed directly on Voldemort. It makes me really happy. Genuinely. I also praise this one for being such an eclectic mix of light and dark. And the character of Professor Slughorn is portrayed wonderfully by Jim Broadbent. I love it. "

Movie Reviews (part 4) (50 movies items)

" The Ups: The first film where the next chapter can't come soon enough for the viewer as characters get killed or change loyalties. It is pretty gripping now. By now one is either a fan or a "I don't care" person. The Downs: Too dark for the younger viewers - which is interesting when you think about who the first two films targeted. It is also so heavy on dialogue and plot now that it is impossible to see this without seeing the prior movie. It could have needed more details as some things see"
