I would have loved to be at the board meeting for the pitching of this movie, an up-tight, control freak and a lazy flake are forced together, with hilarious consequences. And get this! they both end up learning that, although they are so different, their differences complete each other. I know what you're thinking, what an original concept!, I for one can't think of any examples of this formula. Except of course for; The Odd Couple, As Good as it gets, Knocked Up, Along Came Polly, Music & Lyrics, Something's got to give, The Break-Up, Sweet Home Alabama and a plethora of TV shows. This is, in my opinion, one of the worst comedies ever.
No real acting - Come on, Cameron Diaz can't act, and neither can Ashton Kutcher.
There are not many funny scenes - if any at all!
Very badly directed. And the script is beyond predictable.
A total waste of time.

"What Happens In Vegas", is a very good comedy film, with several hilarious scenes, and great performers to go with it. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher do great together on screen. I was actually very surprised to see them do so well. The story is a bit rushed, trying to get to the point too quick, but other than that, I thought this was a very good film. I recommend this film to anyone looking for a great time.

What Happens In Vegas... was a mediocre comedy that was by no means an essential viewing. At times it can be enjoyable and entertaining to watch, but there wasn't a time in What Happens In Vegas... that I really thought were better than the average comedy nowadays. At first I thought What Happens In Vegas... would focus mainly on comedy, but as the film went on, romance began to take the main focus. Now I'm not a huge fan of chicks, so that judgment had a huge impact overall for my opinion of this film after the shift to focus on romance. What Happens In Vegas... doesn't come across with any originality, and I can certainly say that the plot is by no means unique in any way.
