Ghostbusters is a fun, 80's summer-blockbuster defining sci-fi comedy that not only features Bill Murray at his sharpest & Sigourney Weaver at her sexiest (even though at one point, she does turn into a dog....), but also cool specials effects, a couple of proton packs, sliming goblins, a key master, a gatekeeper, streams crossing, cats & dogs living together, not to mention one really big "Twinkie". In this story, the dead are starting to rise on the streets of New York. Well, moreso that usual that is. And at the center of it all, is the head ghost demon known as Gozer The Destructor. This film is one of a select few which epitomizes the 80's entirely. Ghostbusters is set in New York, as all films involving a city on the brink of disaster seemed to be back then. Your typical scenario, people start to see Ghosts, and 3 clever gentlemen (and their employee Winston) figure out a simple (but extremely scientific) way to make money from it. Soon enough the men become heroes, vanquishing ghouls and ghosts throughout the city, until that is, they get more than they bargained for as an evil God is beginning to awaken from another dimension, and it is up to the Ghostbusters to stop it! yes yes the best 1980's movie ever it
is funny sorta scary (but not really)
and its action packed and fun with da family the first one is the best but part 2 was cool and i love the theme
song by parker ray jr.but if you are borde or anything watch this movie its
very good the first time i saw it i was
like oh my god i need to go buy it thats how good this movie its neeto
and there are funny ghost like slimer
but im not going to tell you much about even though mostly every one in the world has seen it but if you havent you dont know what you are missing

I have visited this page many a time to try and write a review that is as succinct and perfect as the previous one, but I can never think of anything else to add.

The graphics are dated, the soundtrack is hilarious but the jokes remain as superb as ever. No matter how old this film looks, I love it. Just look at how iconic the series became. Everyone has heard of the ghostbusters. A legendary film.

This science fiction comedy sits atop a decade of 80s classics. Bill Murray plays up the comedy as he, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis lead an all out assault on New York city's paranormal problems. The Stay Puft marshmallow man provides the ultimate ending to an this classic.
