Get Smart (2008)

This was something me and the lady went to see in the summer time and I was pleasantly surprised to find was very entertaining. The comedy and lines were pretty darn funny and laugh-out-loud at times, and even if you take the silliness out it was still a good spy flick. I can't say that I ever watched the original series, so no comparisons there, but I hope that they don't try to turn this into some sort of Bond-esque series and drag it out. Good times though.

In recent years films like The Dukes of Hazzard and Wild Wild West have proved to be complete tripe, with others of its type to follow. I'm certain that many of us hold nostalgic memories of watching the occasional episode of the original Get Smart. While I had expected this movie to be funny, I hadn't expected to be laughing so hard that I had tears running down my face at parts. It was definitely one of the funnier movies I've seen in theatres in the past year.

I'm not normally a fan of Steve Carell, but I found him to be fabulous in this movie. Anne Hathaway is always someone I enjoy watching in movies - it's amazing how much she's improved since The Princess Diaries - I can't wait to see what she does in the future. The two of them together were a brilliant match for this movie.

This movie is funny I enjoy this movie. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway they did good job. I give 2 thumbs up for this movie.
