In this massive multiplayer online role-playing game, a gamer's avatar is another human being and death is permanent.

The premise behind Gamer is an interesting one. In this future world, people can give up control of their bodies to someone else and this notion is at the same time seductive and horrific.
But Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are more concerned with gory violen... read more

"Kable's the perfect soldier. He's a tactical killing computer. His only vulnerability is the nanex itself; the ping, the delay between Simon's commands and Kable's ability to execute."

Gamer is essentially the Death Race of the videogame world, topped off with a hint of social satire and filtered through the distinct filmmaking lens of Crank masterminds Mark Neveldine and Brian Tay... read more

The future kind of sucks. (355 movies items)

"Reason for the future sucking: Video gamers can jack into the sub consciousness, of a criminal, and use them as an avatar of sorts. However, someone is planing on using the technology, on other people as well. Year it takes place: Near future. "

Movies seen in 2017 (126 movies items)

"12.02. Netflix, 1st viewing DIRECTED BY Brian Taylor & Mark Neveldine Some of the most ridiculous shit I've seen in a while. First half an hour seemed like the worst thing ever, then it picked up a bit and ended up being an original action film with some really shitty directing. Kind of like a really terrible Black Mirror episode. Can't say it isn't entertaining, though. "
