Part I and Part II were both great in their own right and Part III kept the train rolling, also this was the part in which Jason gets his trademark mask. and we can't miss that, can we?

A New Dimension in Terror.

The Third installment of the Friday the 13th series; filmed in 1982 and projected on the big screens in 3D. Releasing it out on 2 dimensional dvd picture really threw me off; seeing random scenes of things coming towards the camera (like the damn yo-yo) but never the less was a great film. Filmed to directly follow the 2nd film, this movie actually takes place the saturday and sunday after "friday the 13th". The body count reaches 12 in this chapter; including some death scenes that had to be cut down to avoid the "X" rating and make it suitable for theatres. Jason Voorhees gets his infamous hockey mask in this film, taking it after murdering someone, thus giving the audience a mask to remember.
