Defiantly one of the better Friday 13th films, though it's still pretty much the same crap: the cheesy acting, the stupid 80's horror music and the predictable story line. I'm really glad I wasn't alive back in the early 80's as all the new horror movie releases would just be the same endless crappy films. “From the 3 big horror movies that launched some major franchises in the 80’s (‘Halloween’, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘Friday the 13th’), my favorite one was ‘Friday the 13th’. Maybe it was because I saw it first but I thought that this first installment was just quite spellbinding and really entertaining to watch. With this in mind, I was having a bunch of my friends at my house so I thought we could have a small ‘Friday the 13th’ marathon so I rented again the first and also the second installment and so we could watch them back-to-back. Eventually, I couldn’t believe how underwhelming the 1st sequel was and it was, in my opinion, a huge step back from the previous movie.
