For a while, I have been watching again all the Disney classics. The last which I needed to watch was this one. I think I saw it when I was a kid but when watching it, I couldn't remember it at all. Honestly, it is obviously one of the weakest Disney productions. Indeed, it is basically a weaker version of Bambi. Still, it is far from being a bad movie. The animation, though not mind-blowing, was ... read more
As a kid, I remember watching The Fox and the Hound, and for some reason, being somewhat bored by it. It may not be Disney's worst, but it's more of a middle-tier Disney film. I admire the friendship message in the first half of the movie, but
it's all for naught in the second half
. The worst part is that in the original book, Tod and Copper
weren't even friends, but he... read more

"This is one of Disney's most underrated and heartwarming films that shows how friendship will prevail through the tough times. This begins with a cute tale of two friends, voiced by Corey Feldman and Keith Coogan. This is an adorable start to the film. When the Fox and the Hound grow up, the Hound is a hunting dog, and the Fox technically becomes what is normally considered prey. Mickey Rooney and Kurt Russell take over the voices of the characters.
Jack Albertson does very well in voicing the f"
"All charmingness aside, this cute but rather thinly plotted yarn exposes the cracks that were present in the pre-renaissance Disney empire.

"I remember being so bored by this movie as a kid and barely remembering what happens afterwards. Years later, I revisited it, and I still wasn't pleased with it. The upside is that nobody dies in the movie unlike in the original book. But still, it's possibly the most overrated movie in the Disney Animated Canon."

"Wish I put this before "The Rescuers." The main reason I like this movie is because it's very personal for me. It's the story of two children who are best friends, but they cannot be friends when they get older because they're from two different worlds. I can relate to the fox because I had a best friend as a little girl who was like my sister, but when we got older she stopped being my friend because she was a mega-popular cheerleader who all the boys liked and I wasn't part of her group. "1.10 (Rewatch Netflix)
Plot
Two childhood animal friends find themselves forced to become enemies.
I Had to keep an eye on my little nieces for the day so I decided to watch one of my childhood favorite with them. This is a very touching Disney masterpiece about a special friendship for everyone that will warm your heart. "
