Possibly the best Pixar film to date

This is possibly the best Pixar animated film to date. Being Pixar, naturally the CGI animation is incredible, but more importantly, the adventure and the amount of laughs found throughout are definitely above most other animated films, with the exception of Shrek, Flushed Away, and Hoodwinked.

The beginning is quite possibly one of the harshest starts of any children's cartoon. A... read more

I usually have great disdain for Disney movies and animated movies made in America in general. It's primarily from the fact that they either overload with tasteless adult humor or go in the opposite spectrum of childish redundancy. However, Finding Nemo surprised me in that it was actually good and tugged a bit at the heart strings. I've come to the conclusion that if Pixar is in the mix it's prob... read more

After their previous films involving toys, bugs and monsters, Pixar Animation Studios yet again take us on yet another adventure in their fifth animated feature film set in another world underneath ours. Just like pretty much every film that Pixar have made, Finding Nemo is another that truly does have everything that an animated film must require. Considering that the majority of Pixar films have... read more

Description: Welcome to the fascinating, mysterious, and sometimes frightening underwater world of Nemo (voiced by Alexander Gould), a clown fish who is being raised by his nervous and overprotective father, Marlin (Albert Brooks), in their sea anemone home on the Great Barrier Reef. On his first day of school, his father tells the teacher the boy has a damaged fin and may not swim well enough to go over the big dropoff. Sure enough, while trying to prove his independence to his dad and his courage to his new classmates, Nemo ventures out into unknown territory and is scooped up by a diver. Marlin, distraught but determined, sets out on a ... (more)

Pixar Films - Ranked (17 movies items)

" Finding Nemo is a wonderful film, and it's one that breaks your heart during its first minutes. Pixar is great at taking something that is very simple at its core and to turn it into a full emotional experience. They find something that is easily relatable and play on it for full effect. Pixar may rarely be about humans, and in Finding Nemo's case it's about fish, but Pixar nonetheless truly knows how humans work and this is one of the core reasons for why Finding Nemo is so wonderful. 35 From 3: My Favorite Films From 2003 (35 movies items)

"As good as the story was in this Finding Nemo (and a it was a story I did like) the world of the undersea looked just so beautiful in this flick, that it felt like this Nemo's story could've used more of an extra punch, just to meet the same high level of quality in the graphics. And if it's seems like I'm being picky with this film, it's only because I think that while it's a solid feel-good family-fare that was very good, it's one that had the potential to have been great.
