Finding Nemo (2003)

I think it is a good film and i think Dory makes it even better. I'd give it a 9/10 because there should be more of her because she's funny... or they should do another one. I also think crush the sea turtle is "awsome". But there should of been more of him too.

This is a great animated film. I fell in love with all the characters and the story was absolutely incredible.

I usually have great disdain for Disney movies and animated movies made in America in general. It's primarily from the fact that they either overload with tasteless adult humor or go in the opposite spectrum of childish redundancy. However, Finding Nemo surprised me in that it was actually good and tugged a bit at the heart strings. I've come to the conclusion that if Pixar is in the mix it's probably gonna be a damn good Disney movie. The thing about family-oriented kid movies is that they should be enjoyed by kids of all ages. Finding Nemo accomplishes this and had any other movie had taken someone of the jokes it'd come off as crude but there's some tact involved and only the targeted audience for such jokes will understand them. This is possibly the best Pixar animated film to date. Being Pixar, naturally the CGI animation is incredible, but more importantly, the adventure and the amount of laughs found throughout are definitely above most other animated films, with the exception of Shrek, Flushed Away, and Hoodwinked. The beginning is quite possibly one of the harshest starts of any children's cartoon. At least Bambi waited til the end to have the mother die, but Nemo's mom (and every egg except for one) get eaten in the first few minutes, but the story required such a start to make the dad over-protective of his son, and when Nemo gets captured by a scuba diver, it's up to him to go find and save his son.
